Sign-In to Nordic Investigators Registry
FinPedMed and NorPedMed are developing a first joint Nordic Investigators Registry during the year 2016 as a pilot project. The final aim is to establish a new Nordic network, NordicPedMed, and include investigators working with paediatric paediatric clinical trials in all the Nordic countries in the same Nordic registry.
NORDICPEDMED membership is based on voluntary registration into the joint Nordic Investigators Registry. During the pilot period, only FinPedMed and NorPedMed members can Sign In.
Registration is free of charge and it can be done by signing on through NORDICPEDMED / FinPedMed Extranet web-page; Extranet: Sign in. Registration is valid after completion of the validation process performed by the FinPedMed or NorPedMed Offices. Each office will validate only own national investigators. After validation, the approved members will receive personal password by e-mail. With the password and user ID, members can log in to registry and fill-in the personal registry details.
The NORDICPEDMED members work at paediatric clinics and departments in university hospitals or other hospitals. Some of them also work as investigators in universities. NORDICPEDMED members are committed to work and perform in accordance with the FinPedMed and NorPedMed operational principles and to quickly respond to Service Requests received through the national networks. NORDIPEDMED members are mainly experienced specialists, generally with a PhD, and many of them are docents or professors.
All NORDICPEDMED members are obliged to comply with confidentiality and data protection requirements pursuant to Finnish and Norwegian laws, and as mandated by the investigators’ primary work organizations (Hospitals and/or Universities). Additional confidentiality requirements are stated in the Terms of FINPEDMED Services. These are applied according to the national legal requirements.
The Investigators Registry is a private and closed registry administrated by the FinPedMed. The registrar is FINPEDMED / CRI HUCH Ltd. National Description of the File (data protection for personal data) is prepared according to the national requirements: Finland: Rekisteriseloste and Norway: Coming later
